Default Hazy Skyler

The original was rather hazy without great contrast. With a little white balance and exposure correction, and most importantly some increased contrast, I believe it significantly improved this picture. What do you think?

moby,
Thanks so much for the advice! Went back and made some corrections with levels, which I never even considered using and it looks much better!

Default good effort

I find when boosting contrast I lose details in the darks, so just watch for that. Depends on your preference though. I do like high contrast but am often called on the lack of detail in the darks. Somewhere in between your edit and the reply edit might be best. If you're shooting in RAW you can adjust your white balance first to tone down the yellow if you like. If not, you can do it with selective colour layer in Photoshop. Cute shot!
