So, It's not a great picture in the first place, but I thought maybe I could improve it slightly by blurring the background to make the icicles stand out more.
Is there anything else I should have done? This is the first time I have used a photoshop editor. Also, is there a way to do this effect with the camera instead of using photoshop? Before: ![]() After: ![]() Thanks

Great 1st attempt it looks much better.
Doing it in camera is possible by widening the apperture (smaller F number), this will blur out the background.
