Forgive me, but there's no way that's the SAME photo, just edited. It has to be two differenty shots.

Dont believe it. The first has some blurring (looks like camera shake) around the car, especially at the front end near the headlights. The second is SHARP and looks like it was taken with some flash.

So other then some other photoshop stuff, the main difference is the USM. Interesting.

hahah, ouch.

Great work, boss. My only $.02 is to crop out the light flare off to the right. No need for that if it's bright and sunny outside, as your final results purportedly depicts. The varying orientations of the shadows is a whole 'nother topic, yet you fixed up the lighting so well that I wouldn't even take a second look at that.

It's truly amazing what you can do to WB in RAW

I have no reason to doubt that's the end result of the first photo.
