Default The Undead

So I haven't slept at all tonight, and about 6 hours ago I decided to make the most of being awake and do my 52 photo, and tie it in with this week's assignment.

To get creepy lighting I shot with my desk lamp underneath my face, and dulled it slightly with a red dress over the top.

Photobucket

Adjusted levels to make the shadows darker as I was going for the creepy look of the assignment, and played around with curves to remove some of the red (but still keep it at an orangey hue).
After this I added one of my textures (I've got into the habit of shooting interesting surfaces and I'm so glad I've started!), changed the opacity slightly, then added some grunge brushes over the top.
Voila!

From Your Nightmares - 4/52

(Sorry about the difference in sizes, I uploaded the unedited version onto Photobucket which has different dimensions.)

Nice job on the treatment. I love the texture you added in the second. Very creepy
