Default From Dull to Full (Fall Colors)

I intend to go looking for "real" fall color, until then, thought I would see what could be done with the Advanced Color Sliders.

BEFORE

Software used: ACDSee Pro 3, Photoshop Elements (w/ CoffeeShop Moody Pop Action)
ACDSee Pro 3
  • Basic sharpening and Luminance NR
  • Advanced Lighting to adjust shadows and highlights
  • Advanced Color EQ :: Saturation (Red +69, Orange +100)
  • Advanced Color EQ :: Brightness (Green -38, Turquoise -1, Blue +2)
Photoshop Elements
  • CoffeeShop Moody Pop Action (Available HERE)

Nice. I like the effect. I'm going to have to get that.

Thanks. I like the effect too, it worked out pretty good on this one. The "Orton" effect is another one I tried, and that looked pretty good too. Most of the color enhancement came from the ACDSee processing, then the Moody Pop gave it a but more refined appearance.

Thanks! The software worked great for doing this. It only took 2-3 minutes.

Good job, myfotoguy. Oh and thanks for pointing me to the CoffeeShop page, that is really useful.

A Quick Question if I may...

So obviously, I was super excited to follow that link to CoffeeShop, got myself all excited and ready to DL as much as I could find and grant a big ol' donation to keep her in coffee for a month...

opened up my program folders expecting to find a folder to just drop the action into, dropped it into the Actions folder...

and nothing

I'm using CS4, and feel like a noob asking this...but how can i get these scripts to work in CS4? I can't seem to find a tutorial for anything other than Elements on her site.
