![]() After: ![]() This is called the Lomo Effect. It basically adds that old, washed out style to pictures. If the photo involves more colors (this particular shot is not so colorful), the effect looks even better, however it can be used on any picture with similar end results. It can be easily turned into an action in Photoshop so you can add the effect to any photo with a couple of clicks. I learned how to do this from Tutvid, a great Photoshop tutorial site. In addition to the Lomo effect, I used the burn tool on the edges to create some vignetting in order to complete the general effect. Enjoy.

That after shot looks great!
However I need to ask... I was under the impression that Lomo camera's (and hence the photoshop effect) over saturated photos, not washed them out?
