Default Montreal Skyline -- Inaugural Post!

Hello All --

This is my first post on the DP Forums but I've been a long time lurker. Hopefully I can learn from you all as I have been the last number of months. In this picture, I wanted to show the flexibility you get with RAW captures as well as the beauty and ease of Adobe Lightroom (I can't believe I used Photoshop all those years!). This one is from my trip to Montreal last weekend.

Before:
Skyline before-1504

In Adobe Lightroom, I simply applied "Matt's Deep Blue Sky (Level 1)" preset to get the after.

After:
Downtown MTL Skyline

Thoughts? Can't wait to be apart of this growing community!

Neil

That's an amazing shot! How easy is Lightroom to use? I have DXO Optics and am just learning how to use it...not sure how well I like it...also have a trial version of Capture One...VERY complicated. Looks like it does what needs to be done...fantastic results!
