Oh, the second one is MUCH better. Definitely not oversaturated. You could probably make the color pop a little more and it would still look great to me. That dog makes me wanna give him a hug around his furry neck! ;-)

The before is a lot better. The dog seems like it is right in front of me. One question, how come the reflection of the stones or boulders seem to be cut-off?
I meant after not before. Last edited by lrivetz; 10-20-2009 at 01:21 PM. |

To those that asked about the dog, he is a purebred siberian husky. His name's Loki.
The "stones or boulders" seem to be cut off because they are a couple hundred yards out, and actually quite large. Its tough to tell because of the bokeh, but the waves prevent a full reflection. Thanks for the input!! |

The processing really brings out the blue in the dog's eyes. You can definitely tell he's a husky.

I agree that the after is so striking because the dog's eyes are so blue like the sky and he is so defined and sharp compared to the sand and cloudy sky. I like it a lot. The only thing I could have suggested would have been to take off his collar and leash to make it more "natural" or "wilder".

The first image looks like a snapshot while the second looks like a Photo! Great job!
