Very nicely done! You have achieved an impressionistic effect with a blurry photo that otherwise would have been deleted. I think this should be printed on canvas and hung on your wall.

Thanks! I agree with you, but unfortunately my wall space doesn't! I'd LOVE to have a gallery one day.

I love love LOVE this!!!!! Wow, what a difference! What an inspiration! Thanks for sharing!
I still haven't figured out gimp, I don't know why as I'm usually very good at any computer program. I certainly don't try to play with it as often as I would like (that could be the problem!)

Absolutely great rescue work here. The textured version is full of mood and is just wonderful. Well done!

Thanks!

Gimp takes some getting used to, but so does photoshop. However, it's very well worth the time and effort! It's great.

I just love what you have done with this shot. The original was definitely a discard, but this one is a keep to put on canvas. It has a dreamy "old world" feel. Love it! thanks for sharing!

Cool

very nice. and a good idea to save a blurry picture. Now I have to go back and look at all my old blurry pictures I saved.

Very well done. I love the finished product. Gives me something new to try. I haven't used textures yet. But I want to now.
