Default i am no genius..
Before IMG_0074 After IMG_0074 I am posting these for the newbies. i am new to dps, photography technique, computers in general...i took this pic a while ago and was real proud of myself. well, since starting to really catch the photography bug, i have been experimenting with some photoshop alterations. i went to www.photoshop.com and from there things were pretty self explanatory. just fooled around with the pic till "i liked it" and am really getting fired up about Photography...so much fun! I am definitely not an expert, just wanted to let the new folks know that it doesnt take a genius to learn how to do all the technical stuff and dps is the place for learning..thx

I am a newbie too.....and it is so exciting..not only the taking of the photos but the part of coming home to see how good or bad they are!!! I am loving my Nikon D70...just need the zoom lens!!! I also have to try to figure out the photoshop...just waiting for the photoshop for dummies from the library.

Just my opinion, but there is *so much* PP that it looks incredibly fake...

You over saturated the photo and in doing so brought out quite a bit of noise. I would tone down the saturation to get as close to the natural colors as possible.
