Default Portrait Reworked

Took this during a break / No lights - just ambient.
Thought there was a better picture here with a little work.
Reworked with PS CS3 / Paint Shop Pro X2

Nice job I love the totally different feel of the original (street smart babe) and the PP'ed version ( virginal angel). The camera never lies?

But....The attachment is far too small to comment on. Get a free account on flickr ( other free photosharing sites are available) and give us a chance to give you an honest comment.

P.S. I normally don't look at thumbnails but you're new so I've made an exception
P.P.S. This is an almost automated message so please don't take offence.

I like the second one, she does look like an angel.

I think I see where you're going, from the first to the second one. But I think the second one is "too far". It's become mushy.

Maybe if there were one 'thing' closer to in-focus (probably her eyes - and not "popped" like in a child portrait, but noticeably closer to in-focus than the surroundings) in the second one ... ?

Odin, I think you have done very well!
You have transformed a standard photo shot with no feeling into a heart-warming image.
I love the emotion you have created. Thanks for letting us share this beautiful example of a before & after photo. I think it’s a work of art

Love the pictures. Have to agree that the second one is a tad too much, but I do like the skin glow. May I ask you the steps? I've been looking for a good process to create that type of glow but not happy with my reults.
