Default ice candle

Ok not the most original idea but who cares. I replaced the stearin of a small candle with water and stuck it in the freezer. Managed to take one shot of it before the flame died for good.

After Photoshop:

Not totally happy with the result but Photoshop saved it some. The ice could've been clearer but since I don't have any facility where to produce crystal clear ice this has to do. Too shallow depth of field. Live and learn. ^_^

I like it, even after you used PS, it looks very good. I like the fact that the refelection from the flame adds detail to the ice. I can see where it has little cracks, and lines in it now...this I think is a very nice touch.
