Default Lucky capture

Yay, my first post.

Anyway, I took this picture few weeks ago and fortunately through my search for tutorials on photography, I learned how to work on dark photos. Here's my first attempt in CS3.

Before...

and After!

Here's what I did.

- duplicate layer
- "screen" blend mode
- duplicate layer again
- change opacity to 25%
- Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation ... I played it around until I was satisfied with the result.

Please feel free to post your own enhancement of the photo. I would love to learn and see what you can do.

Thanks!!!

Forgive me for saying so but the first one is too dark and te second one is too bright. May I suggest a combination of the two. Seems like a great candidate for a watercolor image as well
