Default kid portrait retouch

This is my oldest. We did some outdoor photos last week, was very hot and muggy out.

I used Gimp Clone Tool and Healing Tool to remove blemishes and tan lines, Smudge tool to smooth skin, evened skin tone a little more using color picker and paint brush with very low opacity. Curves layer to improve overall color quality. Sent it out to Picnik.com for a vignette. (they have great vignettes) I think its ready to print.

A used Pentax ist DL and Takumar zoom from ebay, cheap Walmart tripod, ugly old case to carry it all. Freebie Software- Picasa, QTPFSGUI.

Yes, good job. In the before pic, the first thing I noticed was the tan lines. In the after they are much less noticeable.
