Howdy guys.. I took the following photo and wanted to blur the background a tad more so in photoshop I cut the background out as another layer and blurred it .. however when I joined the original photo with the newly blurred background it creates a halo/ring around the statue .. (it is only about 1-2mm wide) but can anyone tell me how to prevent this or get rid of it?
Thanks |

Hi there,
is this the sort of thing you are trying to achieve? if so let me know and I can help you through it. Its really easy and only took a couple of minutes. Hope you don't mind me having a try. ![]() I really like your composition, will have to have a walk around some cemeteries some time soon. Thanks for sharing.

Hey harrypalmer044,
That is what I am trying to do however see how there is a halo around the statue? There is probably one on your attempt because you used my pic with the halo but I really want to know how to get rid of the slight (1-2mm) halo around the statue. (I think its called a halo anyway) and I don't mind you editing my pic :P Peano - Thanks I will take a look at those... |
