I think she stands out a bit more in the b/w. The bushes are darker, so she seems much brighter and therefore more obvious in contrast.

also, on second look, I think I would clone out that flower thing sticking out of the bushes in the upper left hand corner of the picture. It's not as noticeable in the color pic, but in the b/w it's a bit more distracting.

Hi
the colour photo looks just like someone taking a nap in the park withou being disrespecful to you photo. In black and white i think it says a little bit more about the subject matter, i should know as i work in the field.Yes i think i would take out the flower with the spot /healing brush in photoshop as its just a bit distracting. I have playing around with with photoshop recently and have been going into bridge using the clarity slide and a bit of sharpening or going into greyscale and playing around. Im no expert by any means but play with the black and white
hope you have fun

Agree with the above, the B&W seems to focus our attention on the subject

I really like this image, and I much prefer the B&W. IMO B&W is much more expressive than color. I agree about loosing the flower, and I wondered about a cooler, slightly blue tinted image. I took the liberty of doing that, I hope you don't mind. I will remove it immediately if you wish. Otherwise, let me know what you think.

I think Denja option is better. But I preffer some strong contrast om b/w version.

Default Here is my go of it

I did a correction for exposure; then used the channel mixer with R30 G10 B60; that was followed by some dodging & burning with a curves layer for contrast. HTH
