Before
![]() After ![]() Basically, I used masking so I could change my background from my room to a teal to black gradiant. to get the right color of my skin I duplicated myself 2 times, set the first layer to normal, 2nd to overlay, 3rd to darken. another new layer of all white set on color at 21% opacity to make the color slightly less intense. then I used a really soft edge eraser to erase some of the edges of me so i can blend the background a little. and added some blur to the edges as well....the heart was simply a text layer with <3 in it. blending options were set to drop shadow, outer glow, and bevel....oh yea..this was originally taken with my canon SD750 and edited all on Photoshop CS-3. Sorry that isn't exactly the most detailed explaination..but I did this a few weeks ago and I didn't write down what I did. Thus I forgot.

I love my Canon Rebel XSi and use it when I can, but my little Canon SD750 will forever be my first baby whom I will never neglect. http://www.flickr.com/photos/animekiti4christ/ Last edited by animekiti4christ; 07-19-2009 at 06:31 AM. |

I think you did a really good job..however there is a spot on the right side (darkest side) that should have been removed. it is a little distracting..other then that good job!
