Default First time photo edit

Ok so the first pic is the unedited version. Ive nvr done anything other than basic cropping, contrast, sharpening, hue, and saturation editing. On this shot I cropped it then did a bunch of clone and smudging to remove and fix unwanted details lols. So how did i do??

Thx for looking

I think you did a good job. A lot more focus on the flowers now.

great job! And if you didn't see the first pic, you'd never know it was photoshopped. Very nice.

yeah. more focus on the flowers. a little gaussian blur and erasing would have made the pic dramatic. but that was just a suggestion.

Default Thx

Thx for the nice comments peeps. After reading the replys I did a lil more editing. I made a duplicate layer, cut out the flowers, did a G blur filter, then a color to alpha process on the cut out area, and a merge all visiable layers. I figured it would be the same as an erase. What do you guys think?? Im not sure it looks better this way.

I like the previous version better. This one tires my eyes and the flowers seem a bit blurry.

Yeah I definitely like your first attempt better too. Good job! I really, really like the crop. My only complaint is I can see where you've removed stuff in the top right corner...you can see texture/brush strokes that stand out. If you could blend that corner a bit better it would be harder to tell that you've done work on the photo.
