Default Jennifer Light Painting

Jenn Light Painting

I took this portrait of my Girl Friend Jennifer a while back and after getting inspired by some fun light painting print ad's I thought I would have a little fun in photoshop. I don't think Jennifer really liked it when I showed her but I thought it was kinda fun.

What do you guys think of this?
Is It fun, over the top?

Let me know

Josh

Here is the original so you guys know where I started from.

Beautiful Jenn

I really like it. It's fun and refreshing and very well done. Just probably better suited to younger crowds... I'd bet you could make some dough doing these kinds of portraits for the youngsters.....

I really like it. Yes it's over the top, but that's kindof the point. Experiments like this are what sharpen skills. You could use the technique in a more refined way on something else in the future...

Good work.

I really like the light painting effect... very well done. However, I do find the snowflake(?) thingys in her hair to be a bit much. They're a bit distracting. Overall, it definately has a hip/modern feel to it. On the plus side, the original is a very nice picture in it's own right.
