Smile My new favorite picture: Harmony

This is a before and after of my fiance's niece, Harmony. I got lucky with this shot. This is her typical face that she makes when company arrives...it's the "I'm too shy to talk right now" face. She is too cute. She just happened to be sitting in perfect lighting too. The unfortunate part of the shot was that she had chocolate popsicle all over her face and her dress. LOL.

Before:

Harsens Island 062

After

Harmony

To fix it:
1. I used Photoshop CS3 to auto adjust the levels, color, and contrast.
2. I bumped up the brightness and the contrast manually just a touch.
3. To remove her chocolate spots, I used the Healing Brush Tool. Sample a spot using the ALT key and click to remove the spot.
4. Some of the spots on her dress were hard to get out, so after using the Healing Brush Tool, I went over them with the Blur tool using about 60% strength.
5. The final step was to crop out the picnic table to bring more focus to her face. The end!

The before picture was cute, and to be saved for the family! You made a really nice job to get the second, very well done!

You did a great job. The clean up was so simple that no one will ever know about the popsicle unless you tell them . Keep up the great work.
