Default Dull looking photo to a dramatic shot using ACR

This how to is convert a dull looking photo to a dramatic shot using ACR.

Original:
From Drop Box

Output:
kolugumalai Trek

1.Load the JPEG/RAW photo into ACR.
2.Increase exposure a little bit (if needed increase the recovery also)
3.Add fill light to increase overall light in photo
4.Here come the fun: Add/Increase Blacks to make the shot as u like.(Important step)
5.Add a bit clarity
6.Add vibrancy upto MAx 40%
7.Don't play with saturation ,It will spoil the naturallity of the photo.
8.Review the final o/p in preview .and open it in PS. Do a smart crop ,add a frame for adding depth to the photo

You are done.Compare the o/p with original ..U will appreciate yourself..I am not kidding ;-))

Note:Thanks karthick makka for the original photo.

I understand your jubilance at finding the saturation and 'blacks' slider, but really you need to be careful with those sliders as they can be your joyful downfall. Too much of either and your photo gets sucked in a giant black hole vortex of over processing and people will call you a cheater.
