Helloooo,
Only got my DSLR a couple of months ago, after growing frustration with the old point-n-click finally took it's toll on my nerves. ![]() Love this site btw. It has really helped shed light on things such as how exposure, aperture, ISO etc all fit together in the photography picture (excuse the pun). Anyway, I recently went to a classic car show and took a shot that I thought would be good for a go with the Lomo tutorial, posted here http://digital-photography-school.co...mo-photography. The tutorial suggested to post the before and after so here they are. Here's the before: ![]() And here's the after: (on next post) I followed the tutorial pretty much to the letter, with the exception that I used GIMP, rather than Photoshop. ![]() I'm really just learning, so I know it might not be the best, but I wanted to say thanks for the awesome help so far. Many of you have helped me a great deal, even if you don't realise you have been helping! Oh yes, my pic data: Sony a350 DSLR with kit lens (upgraded since taking this shot )Focal length - 18mm Exposure - 1/320 Aperture - f/9 ISO - 100 Cheers, N. Yep, the chrome is much more aggressive in the 2nd shot. Fits the truck better. Great job.
