val.....so, how did you even out the skin tones?....those rainbows had me scratching my head.....

I used layers in paint shop pro XI. I set the layer to color and used the color picker to get the correct skin tone then painted the skin and erased any over color, that was why the eyes turned blue, I erased too much around the eyes. I am going to keep trying today and see if I can save the picture for her.

PSP XI is an excellent program i have it on my Windows Machine if they bring it out for mac ill snatch it up... Worth the money and does what photoshop does, and cheaper by $600 +

What a sin it did not turn out , it is a beautiful pose and may I say a beautiful family . I played with your photo too and while my version is not great I hope you like it ,I hope someone is able to fix it for you .

"What Would You Do?" is short of subjects; you would see even more examples of editting that gives you hope for any photo. Will you be trying this, or would you want me to try to get a finished copy of this one? If you want the tree lighter?

Seriously, if it was a miracle, I could get newer equipment. It's experience in several media, and [patience X time = solution]. No secret incantations or deals with a Wizard.

Actually, I just saved it right to my flicker account. I think it is great just the way it is.

Someday, I will get photoshop. In the meantime, I try and AVOID that thread-because I don't want to turn green with envy.... :-)

I missed the part where the photo was fixed already, so I went ahead and threw in my two cents.
