Looks fairly good... although her right foot is painful and obviously photoshopped.

FYI.

Try keeping a notebook next to your computer and scribble down the steps you take. As you are in the process of learning, this will help you recreate (and tweak) successful approaches on other pictures.

Where did you get the background in the second picture?

thank you all for your suggestions and comments!! I got it off deviantart.com, and this is one of the first backgrounds i saved, and i renamed it. well now i figured out if i leave the name as is, it's got the person's user name in it, so i can give them credit for the background. I AM LEARNING slowly but surely! hahhaha Thanks again. Misty

also, where did you get the file for the wings - do you remember the name ofthe photo from Deviant art or better yet - how did you search for that background. And did you do anything to the background?

the wings came from obsidiandawn.com. You can search for the trees background if you type in the search box trees. the background wasn't really changed much, I did mess with the levels a little , which made the sun a little brighter. I usually look under the tabs photography or digital art. but if you type in trees it should pull up the same image.
