Default flower of hope

done with GIMP 2.

How I did IT:

First I used the burn/dodge tool (shift-D) switched it to BURN and painted the the picture (with this tool) 4 times. (some pictures need only 3) Then I used the Lasso tool (F) to outline the flower. (this allows you to only paint in the outlined area) I then went back to the burn/dodge tool, switched it to dodge setting, and painted over the flower 5-6 times.

well it kinda sucks when you use your one thread for the day and no one says ANYTHING about it and then it ends up getting lost on page 2 or 3 just hours after posting! i understand where hes coming from!

Hmmm... well, he waited a whole 45 minutes for responses and got NONE. How patient is that? Hmm?

I like the before better to be honest, I love the shot as is. I think the colors and details are awsome, and I like the angle you shot it at, mind sharing what you did to pp it.

well sorry I have not gotten back lately.
