Default Ever wonder how bad you can screw up?

Had an eye opening experience shooting in RAW recently. I changed from an indoor environment to a really bright outdoor environment and forgot to re adjust my ISO, exposure, and white balance. I didnt notice how off the picture was, because the sun was so bright i couldnt see the LCD screen.

The attached file is what I discovered when I got home. Using ONLY Adobe Camera Raw in CS4, I slid a few sliding bars and was able to transform it into this!

San Lee Park 042

Not completely perfect, but still an amazing transformation.

Beautiful save! Didn't know you could fix something that light into something so detailed, even in RAW.

Great recovery! I had a similar experience in saving some photos of my daughter's first Christmas. Amazing what RAW can do!

Wow, that is really incredible. RAW is the only way for me for these very reasons.

I can not wait until I have the chance to shoot in RAW. Really show the differences, this just me excited for my upgrade from point and shoot even more!
