Default Fairy Tale Challenge

This is a spot in Central Park that always made a great picture. It always looked Fairy Tale to me. So I decided to make it the fairy tale it is.

What I did:

Adjusted Exposure, contrast, white balance etc to the raw file in Lightroom.
Ran the Raw file through PhotomatixPro using a saved preset.
Opened the file in Photoshop and applied a flood filter.

After:

Nyc Fairy Tale

Sorry about that. I was trying to link to it on my Flickr page, but I made it private because I don't want it shown in my photostream.

I'm no professional but I really like it. Just out of curiosity though, what is that red thing on the right, just above the water? It looks like a ladder.

I had to go back and view it in Photoshop at 100 percent to see that it is a built lattice (ladder like) attached to the top of a damaged fence urging caution.

If you don't want something in your photostream upload it with ImageShack. You'll get to show it but won't have to look at it in your Flickr. ^^

Nice treatment.
