Default City Night Life

I love this photo taken in Central area, Amsterdam.

These are steps using Photoshop to increase contrast & color balance :
- Shadow/Highlight adjustment - just increase the shadow
- Curves Adjustment and Levels Adjustment for selected color
- Add more Color Balance
- Add more Saturation (from Hue/Saturation Adjustement)
For painting looks :
- use Noise Reduction Filter with very extreme setting (strength:10; PresDetails: 0%; ReduceColorNoise: 100%; SharpenDetails: 0%) apply 2 or 3 times.
- Curve Adjustment/Levels to increase contrast
- If needed, add more Saturation (Hue/Saturation Adjustment).
- Good luck

Very cool, indeed! All are top-drawer. I really like your PS work and the artistic rendition is hard to stop looking at. Great job, my friend.

Makes me want to go back to Amsterdam and definitely fits in with all the craziness that the city is known for. Cool effect!

You did a wonderful job on all of it.
I was dissapointed to see that there wasnt a lo of change from the first to the second, so I scrolled down to see what comments there were and then I found the huge image and it looks great.

Awesome job sir!

Very cool effect.
If anyone's translated this into Gimp successfully, can they post the details?
That'll be cool.
Thanks,
Sashi
I ain't got $600+ to pay for PS and am not interested in pirating it either.
