Default Composite image

This is my most in-depth composite image I've made so I thought I would share the steps with you.

Here is the finished image.

yosemite

1) Drive to Yosemite and convince your girlfriend to lie down in the snow in slip
2) In photo raw I exposed the image for the snow
3) In photo raw I exposed the same image for the trees
4) I created a mask to hide the snow out of the tree image
5) In photo raw I exposed the image for the sky and masked out the rest
6) In photo raw I exposed the image for the girl and masked out the rest
7) I imported a snow texture and changed the opacity to 50%
8) Changed the blending mode of the texture to softlight and masked out parts of the snow to make it blend in.

Here are some screen shots of the steps:

Unfortunately, the flickr slidr says that there are no such photos found".
I'd really like to see how you put the image together. It looks too real.
