Default New Glasses

Before:

After:

New Glasses

I adjusted the white balance in Camera RAW. Removed the blemishes on her skin and airbrushed a tiny bit. Used a warming filter layer. Darkened the background.

Some off camera flashes and a better setting would do far more than PhotoShop.

Hi Sandman,
really nice job on the after shot, just goes to show that the old adage " A camera Never Lies" is not so true anymore eh. Nice job.

A great improvement and what a lovely face and eyes. OK, a little critic. I would have removed the shadows under the glasses and taken the hair out to the side of her left eye. Brighten the whites of the eyes a little and you have made it an advert!!

Glayva: I'm not sure I agree about removing the shadows and the hair. It makes it look like a natural self-portrait. I do agree about brightening the whites of the eyes. They look a little too dark..

I tinker a little with Photoshop and Paintshop and I agree, the after looks natural and all that is needed is eyes brightened a little and maybe a little deeper coral colour on the lips?

Google Ice-Flow Studios and you will get a lot of Photoshop Tutorials. He is clear, proper and show you how to do what it is you are doing. Very good and worth checking out.
