Strong Tree

Just down the road from where I live there is an abandoned house, I set out to take some pics of it the other day, only I was greeted by 3 big "Keep Out - Trespassers will be Prosecuted" signs....so i thought I had better follow the rules! Before I left though, I had to photograph this strong standing tree which I had always noticed from the road when driving passed, and found it to be quite interesting to look at.....I snapped the pic and got in my car and drove off, not expecting to do much with it...when I got home and had a proper look, I thought I could play around with it, and then came up with something which I happened to like....any comments are welcomed

For those who wish to know, the first thing I did was completely desaturate the photo & increased the contrast ever so slightly, then I used my adjustment brush (Lightroom shortcut "k" on your keyboard) - I used both Exposure & Brightness set at maximum (this took some time as I had to be careful around the leaves) I then cropped the photo...

Seeing from the source image, I think you pulled the best out of the picture. I would crop the tree more to the center so it becomes more imposing. Thats all I have to add, great processing.
