Default The Apthorp's Courtyard

This is a landmark building that is down the street from me. I again thought this shot was a goner, but with Lightroom and a very mild run through Photomatix, I saved it.

Here is the Camera Data:

Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi
Exposure: 0.04 sec (1/25)
Aperture: f/5.0
Focal Length: 109 mm
ISO Speed:
100 Exposure Bias:
0 EV Flash:
No Flash

Opened the raw file in Lightroom.
Adjusted tone and white balance
Used the adjustment brush to bring out the dark areas
Cropped
Ran it through Photomatix Pro

Thank you. Photomatix is HDR software. Here is the website where you can check it out.

I would love to see you take the same treatment to a similar photo, but with the focus on the statues in the center. I think it would look beautiful.
