Default Turn photo into cartoon

Here I used editing features on Photobucket.

First, I added a frame - white interior; thinner black exterior.
Second, I clicked on the "cartoon" feature.

The cartoon feature didn't work well with several photos I tired, but this one worked out really well.

Fun editing tool, and I really like the edition of the frame!

talking 'bout turning photo into cartoon, i came across an interesting site with a lot of celebrity pictures. not just ordinary pictures, for they're all in cartoon.
cute.. very cute.. i must say.
and there's a tutorial also, describing how they turn the photo into cartoon. i forget the address of the website, sorry. but you can google it using 'celebrity cartoon portraits' as keyword.

here's a sample of the cartoon photo:

That's pretty neat! I've tried that before with no success. Time to try again!

Default Cartooning

If you have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements you can use ToonIt from Digital Anarchy to produce a wide variety of cartoon, illustration, and painting effects. (www.digitalanarchy.com)

If you just want to use Photoshop, start off with the Posterize and Find Edges filter. You don't get a whole lot of control, but it'll create a very basic cartoon effect.
