Default My Take On The Orton Effect

Before -
Golden Fields SOOC

After -
Golden Fields Orton type effect

I tried out the Orton Effect on this wheat field picture. Or at least my take on the Orton Effect.

I used PS Elements 5.0. Made a couple of layers changing the blend mode to "screen". On the 3rd layer I used the "Gaussian Blur" filter then merged the two new layers together and changed the blend mode to "multiply" before I flattened the image.

You can read my tutorial, if you can call it that, in my blog. It's not too horrible for my first attempt!

Certainly added more color and a nice soft feel to it. Good job!
