Default Pond & hills.

Pretty new to this (only got my camera last weekend) so I know its not perfect.
But hey let me know what you think.

Did a few things to it, adjusted curves & sharpness and the color balance a little. Increased the saturation and added a diffuse glow filter.

Love the way you brought out the colors and the overall warmth to the image.. However, in the sky area, too much was brought out. You lost your detail. You might try doing your adjustments on a duplicate layer but then mask off the sky so you retain detail. (or erase the sky on your top layer)
I also like the way you used the landscape as a natural frame for the background. Just darn those things right smack dab inthe middle blocking the view. lol

Thanks for the reply, I did notice the problem with the sky but was unsure how to fix it so thanks for the advice, and of course the bushes in the front are a bit messy but I couldn't get any closer without getting knee deep in mud.
