I love old bridges. I use to ride a motorcycle back before I understood anything about photography and always had my 2mp Fuji P&S in my pocket. I would snap every bridge I came across on my rides.
Here's a before and after that I did of a beautiful local bridge. It is an old historic single lane with open grating and it once had auto traffic below and train traffic above. ![]() I had quite a bit of help with my before and after here, absolutely no editing done. These are both straight from the camera. First, I had some help with some grading and some gravel placement. Then my help BLEW UP the bridge! And finally, a new extremely ugly concrete monstrosity was built.... ![]() ![]() Seriously, it's a real shame. That old bridge had quite a lot of character. I never did get time to go down and shoot it with some photography knowledge before it was sadly destroyed.

I understand the nostagia...I looked at the Youtube video.
You can still try to do some PP to squeeze what creative value that u can out of the first shot though.
