Default Shot from an iPhone

I like this because firstly it came from just a humble iPhone but also because I quite like the final result...being slightly abstract which was what I hoped for.

Firstly, the original:

Reflections in the Window - Taken by iPhone

Taken looking straight up at the glass side of a building which was reflecting the glass roof. From that shot I made several adjustment layers to increase the contrast, increase saturation and also 2 duplicated layers where I used motion blur (1 vertical, 1 horizontal) to give an "otherworldly" feel to the shot. I also used a blue photo filter to change the hue a bit.

The edited version:

Reflections in the Window - Taken by iPhone (Edit)

Oh...and I put a frame around the edited one...something that always seems to divide people but I thought I would use it this once.

Thanks for reading.

I giggled a bit at the description of the i-Phone as being 'humble' , but I do get your point - not bad for a telephone!

I actually like the original more, I'm especially impressed with the contrast, as compared to my camera phone, which renders even a rainbow as a muddy splodge...

I like them both but the first really is pretty sharp for an iphone...I never got that good of shots with mine....must have been perfect conditions.....
I need to break mine out and try again I guess!

Thanks for all the comments. As for it being form an iPhone...I did take a few to ge that, held it VERY still, and realised that it only takes the pic as you let go of the button...not when you press it. So you need to press it, compose, then let go to get it sharp.

That's what I found anyway.

Cheers,

Love the first one. Too crisp and right on spot. A very good capture for iPhone.

What you have done is fantastic. I just love the composition and the way you have transformed the original image. What phone did you use?
