Default Rock Out!

I was messing around with some action shots of my guitar and then I started to mess around in GIMP. I thought these were interesting, nothing 100% but I like them.

I really like the third one. The combo of the red in the t-shirt with the blue jeans really stands out. I just discovered an easy way to do selective coloring in Photoshop. If you desaturate, make another layer and then color back what you want using the history brush, it's really easy.

Would you want to expain how you arrived at the final product? Maybe even the name of the filter you used?

I actually didn't use a filter, I desaturated to B&W then opened another copy of the original, cut the red and blue parts then pasted it into the new B&W copy. To get the black out effect on the pants i just fooled around with the fill tool.

Like I said before it wasn't really intended to be 100%, just played with it

I know but this is the before and after section. The point is to tell others how you created your image to learn from what you did and get ideas!
