Default Before & After Anhingas

First of all I'd like to say Happy New Year to everyone at DPSF! It's freezing here in NYC and it made me reminisce about my Costa Rica trip a few years ago. Here are two photos before and after of a beautiful Anhinga I took. I wish I would have had my Canon EOS at the time but the photo was taken with a shoot & Point.

That is one big blue bird! I thought they were all just black. Great capture!

Thanks Murdoc, it truly is a beautiful bird and I wanted to bring it out!

Thank you peeper. I did a white balance and tone adjustment in Lightroom as well as play with the curves a bit. I then did some noise reduction and sharpening in Photoshop

Thank you dlaf. I was on a boat and was very lucky to get the shot. He opened his wings right as we went past him.
