I realize this isn't going to be everybody's cup of tea, but the colors just make me happy while the original was just blah.
Here's the before:
Was going for moody and just got blah. Even trying to convert it to B&W it was just too gray, so I started in curves adjusting the contrast and playing around with layers of colors and changing the type of layer it was. I then took it into Picasa and whilst there boosted saturation a bit to get more contrast and to gild the lily I added the "glow" feature (in Picasa). And viola! You either see a puddle of melted candy corn or a glowing, orange and yellow silhouette. and after: ![]() Thanks for looking! Debbie

My favorite color went from red (for years) to yellow (for years) and is now moving to orange. The best of both colors!
