Default Candy Corn Trees

I realize this isn't going to be everybody's cup of tea, but the colors just make me happy while the original was just blah.

Here's the before:

From DPS Posts

Was going for moody and just got blah. Even trying to convert it to B&W it was just too gray, so I started in curves adjusting the contrast and playing around with layers of colors and changing the type of layer it was. I then took it into Picasa and whilst there boosted saturation a bit to get more contrast and to gild the lily I added the "glow" feature (in Picasa). And viola! You either see a puddle of melted candy corn or a glowing, orange and yellow silhouette.

and after:

Tang-y Trees

Thanks for looking!
Debbie

Wow, that second picture reminds me of the 60's! I like it.

Thank you, Samanax, AnnetteJ, and Charmayne for taking the time to comment. I'm glad the transformation pleased, rather than offended, your senses!

My favorite color went from red (for years) to yellow (for years) and is now moving to orange. The best of both colors!
