Default color selecting

This is a pic of my 8 month old son I like how he is looking at the camera but reaching for the statue so i worked the picture a little.

This photo is a combination of desaturation/layer and curves along with RGB curves/blending mode/masking and blur.
bringing color to everything he touches
I have taken the original pic and turned it to black and white through RGB/Greyscale instead of desaturate. Then used the original again to bring in the colored pic of my son and santa.

I think the picture is awesome, but i do think that some highlights on the tree would help it a bit, it makes it seem underexposed and the black is very distracting.

Yes i agree about the tree being distracting,thank you for pointing that out. My last edited picture looks much better i think =D

im not to sure what happened to them, i had set my flickr pics of my kids to private. But changed this one back to public,dont know why we cant see them.
