Default santa with the corgi

so we took our puppy to see santa today, and i didn't want to use any flash, unfortunately it meant using high iso, with a slow shutter. well it resulted in a dark noisy shot.

i increased brightness by a substantial amount, increased contrast, i then adjusted sharpness by removing gaussian blur, and then i dodged around the border and a smidge on the puppies face.

I actually really like the original, but the edited version definitely adds something special to the shot and makes it more christmassy.

This could be a good technique to use to make a photo appear as being just a dream. Good work!

Wckeep,
I sincerely hope you're okay with me fiddling with your photograph. I got a warm feeling from your original. So, my compliments there.
Still, I was compelled to play with it a little bit. I like altering pics. It's fun. So, I tinker around in photoshop quite a lot.
