Default snapshot to portrait

helios 58/2, gx10.

Basicly i just croped the image, changed the colour balance, light/shadows, EV comp and a little tweek on the clarity slider. Added a new layer with the background and masked it so that he would show through. Ohh and brightened his eyes

can see a larger one here.

I too like the way you got rid of the background but also I like your crop.

I like the crop, and the background, but the warmth in his skin tone that is there in the first shot is absent in the second - maybe because of the cooler background, but I prefered the face colouring on the first.

thanks

i got 2 printed (nothing major just 7x5 or so) and gave one to him and one to his mum .

hes my big cousin and he always looks at me like that when i point my camera to him LOL

Ginger Pixie, i changed the colour balance to make it a little cooler i thought it looked better with the blue background but then im using a 32" 136x768 screen on my pc so probably isnt the best for doing photos on . It looked nice printed tho.
