Default Dried Fruits

HI . This is my first post on this board, so here goes...

Before

After

Fist I opened it in Adobe's Camera Raw and added a little fill light. Then I opened it in Photoshop and cropped it. Next was a color balance adjustment layer to just make the colors look better. After that, the main change was a curves adjustment layer. For this, I raised the red in the highlights and dropped reds in the shadows. Same for Green. Blue was the opposite: dropped it in the highlights and raised it in the shadows. Next, I added a gradient map adjustment layer (the blue to orange one), set the layer to soft light and dropped its opacity to 25%. Border was the finishing touch.

Hope you like it. Please let me know what you think.

Default Looks good

Nice job on color, and great pic overall....But,
One thing is distracting to me. When I look at the main focal point my eye's are drawn to the intense brightness in the top left. I would maybe try to tone that area down.
Just my 2cents, but good job !

Thank you. And thanks for the input as well. I'll try another version when I have time and darken that a bit.
