Default Trying to save a snapshot

In order to learn some pp skills, I am just messing around with some vacation snapshots, trying to turn them into something more artsy-fartsy.

Here is one taken while at the horse track.
Maine2007 017

Here it is after a crop and resize. Color adjustment to a duotone of black/gray and a vignette. Done in Nero

Great job at cropping out the bad stuff! Love the B+W. Gives out the mood.

Thanks Sunday, but I tinkered with it some more in Flickr's piknic and I think I might like this better.

I think I like the second a bit more then the first edit. It isn't quite as "dark"

I like the second version better also! But considering he is contemplating racing forms, maybe the "dark" version works better. I know that "dark" is how I feel after I have placed my bets.LOL! Very neat artsy-fartsy transformation out of an oridnary snapshot.
