Lightbulb Bluer Water

I recently read something on how to make muddy water look bluer and I was happy with how it turned out, so I thought I would share!

Before:

After:

All this takes is opening the same image twice in photoshop, one in a tungsten WB and one in a much warmer WB. (I use RAW and open pictures with bridge)

Then in Photoshop I placed (with layers)the warmer colored photo on top of the bluer Tungsten photo and erased the area where the water is to show the bluer layer benieth. And wah-la, bluer water! Hope this helps anyone who has a muddy river around and wants to make it look a little nicer!

I like them both photos and the bottom one is like a swimming pool water!
Great idea!

This is very pretty. I especially like the contrast of blues and greens. Very nice.

Ohman, this photo gets me all trippy -- feels like I could glide along that river!
Very good fix, love it either way.
Thanks for the tip! Will definitely keep this stored away for future reference.
