Cool Spider....

I did cropping and some editing such as brightness, temp and exposure. But nothing drastic.

I am still learning Aperture and still getting the hang of this editing thing. But Here is my first before and after.
Before
Spider Original

After
Spider PP

marieg,

That's the secret, if there is one: knowing when enough is enough. You preserved the spiky leg sensors and natural color.

If I had a choice of crops, I might have gone for the space being left on the left side. I'm just funny that way.

Talking

I wanted to go left when cropping and I didn't like the way the web looked on that side. So I went right..

Thanks for liking the shot! It makes me feel great! I am my own worst critic!

Yeah, I think going right was the right choice here. The web is much more crisp over there.

Good job.

Thank you, and thank you!

Uhm I started out shooting with my 50mm, but realized it wasnt the right choice, so I hurried and switched to the kit lens. 18-55....

1/60
f4.5
34mm
and it says exposure not defined?....
ISO 400

crazy! you did that with your kit lens? I guess that shows you what 12 megapixels will do for you in a crop. My XT with the kit lens won't get that much detail in a crop.
