Default Dream Girl

a dreamly portrait of my dreamgirl

it was a nice pose and nice smile.. pitty the lighting wasnt great.. so i set out to make a "dreamy" and soft focus shot like comes from "bodyShots" or other Pro-Portrait houses.
BEFORE

-removed some spots & reduces frown/laugh lines.
-dodged shadows a little
-cloned flowers in behind her head as the plum tulips melter into her hair

-sampled (eyedropper) on her skin and used low opacity screening brush to -add a "foundation" look
-sponged saturation into her cheeks
-repeated (but with white) for teeth & eyes.
-added Dust/Scratches to suit the blurr I wanted.
-masked out eyes, mouth ear & earing from blur so we can see some detail & have focal points.

VOILA!
AFTER

whoever marries her is really lucky..

Wow! That is stunning. You took a nice photo and made it spectacular. Thanks for including the step by step process - that helps us newbies learn the ins and outs of photo touch up. And I especially love color coordination of the pink blouse and pink in the floral background. Well done!
