Default Civic Auditorium

This is a picture of the Civic Auditorium In grand Rapids, MI. It is a beautiful building.

Civic Auditorium-Before

I cropped it and got rid of the light fixtures on the roof. Then i changed it to b&w with an overlay of sepia

It's a great change, the curves of the ornaments really popped up and the edititing gave a nice dramatic look to the picture.
Good job!

I too like the results, but the way the sky area turned out seems odd to me. My eyes drawn to that area and away from the building. Could it have been done the same but keeping (at least) the brightness (vs the color) of the sky. Just curious. ARPhot.

It's a nice short but looks too dark overall to me. I'd like to see more highlights and contrast. The trees on the left are a little annoying also - indistinct black blobs - maybe crop them somehow...
