Default Ahh, the irony!

Before
No Picnics - Before

After
No Picnics - After

No real theme or planned outcome other then to make the "No Picnics" pop more and get a bit more grain and texture out of the picture. Just was playing around. I don't like how I lost the bench seat part of the picnic table. But couldn't help but laugh at this simple irony.

Playing around in GIMP. Tighter crop, Auto-White Balance, 2 duplicate layers - 1st Gaussian Blur at 20, grain extract, merge down to 2nd duplicate layer then set to overlay. Artistic filter "Softglow" Duplicate original again, Gaussian blur at 15 overlay.

Well I think you succeeded in your aim. I looks great. Why on earth would they put a notice like that on a 'picnic' table?

This definitely gave me a chuckle. I like how, in making the letters stand out it gives the photo a more ominous feel. Like-you don't want to know what will happen if you try and have a picnic there. *lol*

Nice job!

Nice shot and good job on the post processing. Perhaps the people who installed that locked and barred escape chute had a hand in this too?

Even better if you have a photo of a picnic going on.

I love the processing but I'm afraid you lost the power of the original since we can't see the seat. I think the seat is needed to sell the idea. Also, it was already pretty tight. Why the crop?

Don't want to come off as negative on only my second post. Just wanted to put a different view out there.

Great capture and find!

Meh, on second thought the crop does look better.
